Reclaimed Wood, Delivered Right
Reclaimed lumber is heavy, long, and often irregular. Standard parcel carriers cannot handle it, and most freight companies have no idea how to protect aged wood during transit. That is why we operate our own delivery fleet for local orders and personally coordinate every freight shipment that leaves our yard.
When your order arrives, it will be properly stickered, banded, and wrapped to prevent damage. Palletized loads are built to LTL freight standards. Individual pieces are padded and secured. We do not just throw wood on a truck — we treat every delivery like the irreplaceable material it is.

How We Ship
Equipment & Capabilities
Delivering reclaimed lumber requires different equipment and handling procedures than standard construction materials. Old-growth timber is denser and heavier than modern lumber. Weathered surfaces can be fragile. Irregular dimensions mean standard palletizing does not always work.
Our delivery team has been moving reclaimed wood for over a decade. They know how to strap an 8x12 beam without crushing the patina, how to stack mixed-width flooring for transit stability, and how to navigate a flatbed into tight residential job sites.
Flatbed Trucks
Our fleet of flatbed trucks handles loads up to 24 feet in length and 10,000 lbs. Ideal for timber deliveries to job sites, residential projects, and commercial locations throughout the Portland metro area.
Truck-Mounted Forklifts
We carry our own forklifts on delivery runs, so we can unload palletized material at locations without dock access. No need to arrange a forklift at your end — we bring ours.
Freight Coordination
For shipments beyond our truck range, we coordinate with commercial carriers daily. We handle BOL preparation, freight class determination, pallet building, and insurance documentation.
Specialty Transport
Oversized timbers, fragile mantel pieces, and high-value loads receive custom crating, padding, and secured transport. We have delivered 40-foot beams, irreplaceable antique flooring, and museum-quality salvage.
How It Works
Scheduling Your Delivery
From order confirmation to job-site unloading, here is what to expect.
Order Confirmation
Once your order is confirmed and processed, we assign a delivery date. Portland metro orders can often be scheduled for the next business day.
Preparation
Material is pulled, inspected a final time, stickered, banded, wrapped, and loaded. Freight shipments are palletized to carrier specifications.
Transit
Local deliveries on our own trucks. Regional and national shipments via vetted commercial carriers. Full tracking provided on all freight orders.
Unloading
Our drivers carry forklifts for pallet unloading. For job sites without equipment access, we provide hand-unloading service at standard labor rates.
Packaging Standards
Every shipment is packaged to protect your investment during transit.
- +Lumber is stickered between layers for airflow and to prevent surface marking
- +Loads are banded with steel or poly strapping rated for the shipment weight
- +Stretch wrap or shrink wrap applied to palletized freight orders
- +Corner protectors on all pallets to prevent edge damage from forklift tines
- +High-value and fragile items (mantels, slabs) receive custom crating
- +Moisture-resistant wrapping for shipments traveling through wet climates
Insurance & Claims
All shipments are fully insured for the declared value of the materials.

Will-Call Pickup
Prefer to pick up your order? Our Portland yard at 2135 NW 21st Ave is set up for customer loading. Drive in, we load your truck or trailer with a forklift, and you are on your way. Same-day pickup is available on most in-stock orders placed before noon.
Yard hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Closed Sundays and major holidays.
